About the Event
Discover the best food and wine offerings that the North Shore has to offer at Northshore magazine’s third annual Grand Tasting & Culinary Marketplace, overlooking the water at the Blue Ocean Event Center in Salisbury March 30, 2017. This year’s event promises to be even grander than last year with celebrity chefs, exquisite wines, and tantalizing tastes from the region’s top restaurants and gourmet food and wine shops—a true feast for all the senses. Experience a myriad of savory and sweet samples, plus every imaginable type of libation.
Also on hand will be scrumptious nibbles from local food artisans, making everything from farmhouse cheese to hard cider to award-winning hand-made chocolate treats. Also learn about a variety of sophisticated pours from local wine purveyors who will educate you all the ABC’s of the art of wine tasting and help you find what is perfect for your palate.
This event is a celebration of gourmet foods, fine wines, signature cocktails, live cooking demonstrations, live music that are a part of the North Shore’s vibrant social scene.
A portion of the proceeds benefits The Greater Boston Food Bank, serving communities across the North Shore and all of eastern Massachusetts. The Greater Boston Food Bank (GBFB) is the largest hunger-relief organization in New England and among the largest food banks in the country. Last year, they distributed more than 54 million pounds of food, enough to provide healthy meals to as many as 545,000 people.
